Jacob Rodriguez, Principal
Mr. Rodriguez has been in the education field for 20 years. His teaching career began in Crown Point in 2005 at CPHS before transitioning to Assistant Principal at Hobart High School. After 4 years at Hobart, he returned to CPHS as freshman principal. He assumed the role of principal at Colonel John Wheeler in 2019.
Sara Stanzione-Emerson, Assistant Principal
Mrs. Emerson has been an educator for nearly 19 years. A graduate of Purdue West Lafayette, she obtained her Bachelors degree in Secondary English Education with a minor in Communications. She taught 8th grade Language Arts and High Ability at Wilbur Wright Middle School. After securing her Masters Degree in Educational Administration, Mrs. Emerson served as the Dean of Students and the eventually the Assistant Principal at Wilbur Wright Middle School. She has worked the last 5 years as a University Student Teaching Supervisor at Indiana University Northwest. Mrs. Emerson resides in Crown Point with her husband, Bill, and two children, John and Elise.
Chris Gabriel, Assistant Principal
Mr. Gabriel has been in education for 18 years. A graduate of Purdue West Lafayette, he obtained his Bachelors degree in Technology Education and his Master degree in Educational Leadership. Chris started his teaching career at Col. John Wheeler Middle School in 2007. Mr. Gabriel coached wrestling at Wheeler Middle School and baseball at CPHS until 2016. His administration career began at Kouts for 3 years, Wanatah for 2 years, and Union Township for 3 years. He is proud to be a bulldog once again! Mr. Gabriel is happily married to his lovely wife, Erin, and they have 4 children together (Grace, AJ, Isaac and Edison).
